Katelynn Mitchell

Katelynn Mitchell is the founding attorney of K. Mitchell Law, PLLC, and a dedicated advocate for families navigating difficult legal challenges. Her practice focuses primarily on family law, including divorce, custody, and related matters, where she works to provide compassionate guidance and effective representation. Since establishing her firm in 2018 and later co-founding Hooper Mitchell & Associates in 2022, Katelynn has built a reputation for professionalism, client care, and results-driven advocacy.

Katelynn earned her B.S. in Elementary and Special Education, with a minor in History, from Northern Arizona University. She then earned her J.D. from Concordia University School of Law in Boise. During law school, she served as Student Bar Association delegate, President of the American Constitution Society, and was honored with the Richard C. Fields Civility Award in 2016 for her commitment to professionalism and civility in the legal field.

Licensed to practice in Idaho, Hawaii, and the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts, Katelynn brings a wide-ranging perspective to her legal practice. She is an active member of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and the Family Law Section of the Idaho State Bar, allowing her to stay closely engaged with legal developments and best practices in family law. Her experience and professional involvement reinforce her ability to handle complex and sensitive cases with skill and integrity.
