Karima Gulick is a registered patent attorney and aerospace engineer who leads Innovent Law, a boutique intellectual property law firm based in Orange County, California. With a rare blend of legal and technical expertise, she helps clients in engineering, technology, and creative fields secure and enforce their patents and trademarks. Her practice is rooted in a deep understanding of innovation, combining practical industry experience with strategic legal counsel.

Karima earned her J.D. from Western State College of Law, with a focus on Intellectual Property Law (2015). She holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Astronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (2008).

Before entering the legal profession, Karima spent eight years working as an aerospace engineer. Her engineering background includes building aircraft pilot controls, designing electro-mechanical systems, and developing software for in-flight entertainment. This experience enables her to approach intellectual property matters with technical fluency and a problem-solving mindset.

Karima is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the California State Bar. She focuses on helping tech startups, engineers, and creatives secure IP rights, navigate filing processes, and protect innovations from infringement. Fluent in English, French, Arabic, Spanish, and conversational Italian, she serves a global and diverse client base.
