Glen G. Mastroberte

Glen G. Mastroberte is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, where he focuses on media and entertainment, mergers and acquisitions, and artificial intelligence. He represents clients across film, television, music, sports, video games, and digital media. His practice includes advising on corporate transactions such as M&A, joint ventures, equity financings, and strategic partnerships. Mr. Mastroberte works closely with private equity firms, production companies, distributors, and tech-driven media businesses worldwide.

Mr. Mastroberte earned his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law in 2002, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. He also holds an M.Sc. from London Business School (2004) and a B.S. from the University of Arizona (1997), magna cum laude.

Mr. Mastroberte is a leading media and entertainment dealmaker with a track record on high-profile, multibillion-dollar transactions. He advised Reliance Industries on its $8.5 billion joint venture with Disney and Viacom18, and counseled Embracer Group on its acquisitions of Middle-earth Enterprises and Dark Horse Media. He also represents major music labels, publishers, and artists in acquisitions, financings, and catalog sales, including transactions involving OVO Sound, Downtown Music Holdings, and Alamo Records.

In addition, Mr. Mastroberte has significant experience in entertainment financing, helping structure complex production and distribution agreements for content on platforms such as Apple TV+, Netflix, and Facebook Live. He has also led branding and endorsement negotiations for global brands and sports franchises.
