Kari A. Losee is a shareholder at Gjesdahl Law, P.C., where she represents clients in a range of family law matters, including adoption, Assisted Reproduction Technology (ART), gestational carrier agreements, and complex divorces involving financial disputes and parenting terms. Since joining the firm in 2016, she has been dedicated to helping families navigate legal transitions with compassion and skill.
Kari earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2015. Her legal education built on prior academic achievements, including a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1999 and an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from the Minnesota School of Business in 2007. This diverse educational foundation enhances her analytical approach and legal insight.
Kari is licensed to practice in both North Dakota and Minnesota and has completed the prestigious 8-day Family Law Trial Advocacy program through the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), where she was selected as one of only 46 attorneys nationwide. This elite training further sharpened her courtroom skills, particularly in divorce and custody litigation.
A committed member of the national ART legal community, Kari regularly attends American Bar Association Family Law conferences and ART seminars. Her involvement ensures she remains current on evolving issues in assisted reproduction law and cultural competency within family law practice.
