Karen Friedman Agnifilo is a highly experienced attorney with a strong background in criminal justice, litigation, and trial law. She supervised investigations into violent crimes, cold case homicides, and complex legal matters while acting as the Acting District Attorney in the DA’s absence.

Throughout her career, Karen played a key role in shaping New York’s criminal justice policies. She helped establish the Human Trafficking Unit, Hate Crimes Unit, Cybercrimes Bureau, and Terrorism Unit, improving the prosecution of these serious offenses. She also worked in the New York City Mayor’s Office, advising on criminal justice reforms.
