Originally from St. Louis, Kara developed her love for New Orleans while attending Loyola University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Speech. She later obtained her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, graduating as a William L. Crowe, Sr. Scholar and serving on the Law Review. Her education honed her storytelling abilities—an essential skill in effective trial advocacy.

Throughout her distinguished career, Kara has built a reputation for excellence in appellate and trial work. Her exceptional skill was recognized when she received the David M. Bradley Memorial Award from the Louisiana Association for Justice after successfully winning four cases before the Louisiana Supreme Court in a single year. These victories reflect her relentless pursuit of justice and her firm’s outstanding record before appellate courts.
