Etta Simons brings more than sixteen years of legal experience representing clients in Workers’ Compensation and Plaintiff Litigation. Known for her dedication and attention to detail, she has earned a reputation for effectively guiding injured workers and plaintiffs through complex legal challenges while protecting their rights and pursuing fair outcomes. After studying abroad at Oxford University, Etta graduated cum laude from the Honors College at the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and in 1997, she was admitted to the South Carolina Bar Association and the Charleston County Bar. This educational foundation strengthened her analytical and writing skills, which she continues to apply in her legal practice and teaching.
Throughout her career, Etta has served in various respected Lowcountry law offices and shared her knowledge as an adjunct professor of legal writing at the Charleston School of Law. In 2012, she founded her own firm, providing contract legal services to other attorneys and contributing articles for the National Association of Independent Schools. Her multifaceted background reflects both her legal expertise and her commitment to professional development.
