About

Kaitlin Hamilton is a personal injury attorney at Kevin McManus Law in the Kansas City area. She represents people experiencing serious injuries and losses and assists with cases from pre-litigation through litigation. Her practice focuses on plaintiffs’ injury claims and the legal steps involved in seeking recovery following an accident. She emphasizes understanding clients’ circumstances while preparing claims, communicating about the legal process, and developing case strategies.

Kaitlin received a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Business, from the University of Kansas. During law school, she was a Shook, Hardy & Bacon Scholar and a Dean’s Fellow who mentored first-year students. She also served as an American Bar Association class representative. This training provided a foundation for case research, advocacy, and client communication.

Before joining Kevin McManus Law, Kaitlin spent nearly four years with a busy plaintiffs’ personal injury practice, initially as a law student intern and later as an attorney after passing the bar in 2024. She gained exposure to the stages of injury litigation and claims resolution. Her legal training also included work with the Paul E. Wilson Project for Innocence & Post-Conviction Remedies and Equal Justice Under Law on criminal justice research.

Kaitlin is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. Her background combines personal injury case preparation with earlier public-interest research focused on wrongful convictions and legal inequality. She brings experience in pretrial work as well as litigation, helping clients understand how evidence, legal deadlines, and procedural choices affect an injury claim. Kaitlin Hamilton focuses on consistent client support and careful representation while clients address the effects of serious injuries and losses.
