Justin T. Allen is a partner at Wright Lindsey Jennings in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he leads the firm’s Government Relations practice group. He counsels clients on navigating state and local government policy, regulation, and legislation, while also representing businesses in commercial litigation, contract disputes, and regulatory investigations.
Justin earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas before obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. Admitted to the Arkansas Bar in 1999, Justin is also licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Before rejoining the firm, Justin served as Chief Deputy Attorney General for the State of Arkansas. In this role, he managed all legal departments in the Attorney General’s office, addressing matters ranging from constitutional law and consumer protection to antitrust, environmental issues, and criminal appeals. His responsibilities also included working directly with the Governor’s office, legislators, agency leaders, and private entities on significant policy and legislative initiatives.
In private practice, Justin provides government relations and lobbying services across diverse industries, including energy, telecommunications, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, and economic development. He has represented clients before the Arkansas General Assembly, state agencies, and municipal governments, while also assisting businesses in negotiations with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and Department of Finance & Administration.
