Wilschek has obtained Vermont Public Utility Commission approvals for renewable energy projects, transmission line upgrades, substations, financing, rate increases, and ownership transfers. She has also acquired easements through negotiation or condemnation and reviewed utility easement practices and enforcement questions. Her experience includes advocacy before the Vermont Supreme Court. Before establishing her current practice, she worked at Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer and was a partner from 2014 through 2017.
Joslyn Wilschek’s professional service includes co-chairing the Vermont Bar Association’s section for public utility practitioners. She has also served on an Act 250 district commission, the Board of Bar Examiners, and the Human Services Board. Her practice connects regulatory proceedings with the property arrangements needed for infrastructure projects.
