Josh Smith

Josh Smith is a seasoned litigator and trusted legal advisor representing businesses of all sizes across South Carolina. As a partner at Smith Hudson Law LLC, Josh focuses on business litigation, trade secret and unfair competition matters, employment law, and appellate work. His practice includes serving as outside general counsel to companies ranging from start-ups to large, established corporations, helping them navigate legal issues with a deep understanding of their business operations and goals.

Josh earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, he served on the editorial board of the Southeastern Environmental Law Journal and held clerkships with the Environmental Protection Agency and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC).
