Joseph Pleva is the owner and principal attorney of the Law Offices of Joseph G. Pleva in Huntsville, Alabama, focusing exclusively on consumer bankruptcy. Joseph earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law in 2001 after completing his A.B. in Economics and Political Science at the University of Michigan in 1998. Early in his career, he worked at a large consumer bankruptcy firm in Detroit, Michigan, where he represented thousands of debtors and learned to navigate the full spectrum of challenges in bankruptcy law.

In 2005, Joseph founded his own law office to deliver a more personal approach to bankruptcy cases. He provided critical assistance during the mortgage crisis and auto industry downturn, restructuring debts and helping clients protect their homes. His emphasis on open communication and tailored solutions ensures each case proceeds efficiently toward a successful outcome.

A member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Bankruptcy and Consumer Law Section of the Alabama Bar Association, Joseph continually expands his expertise by attending industry-leading seminars on debtor rights and bankruptcy practices.
