Jorge Luis Rivas

Jorge Luis Rivas Jr. is a respected attorney based in El Paso, Texas, with more than two decades of experience representing clients in personal injury and employment discrimination cases. Mr. Rivas earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Texas at Austin before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School. Prior to establishing his law firm in 1995, he served as a prosecutor with the El Paso District Attorney’s Office and later worked for a prominent personal injury and employment defense firm. These experiences provided him with a strong foundation in trial advocacy and negotiation, skills he continues to use in achieving favorable results for his clients.

Licensed to practice in Texas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, and the Supreme Court of the United States, Mr. Rivas brings exceptional legal insight and professionalism to every case. A retired Major and former Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer, he carries the discipline, leadership, and dedication of his military service into his legal practice.

In addition to his private practice, Jorge Luis Rivas Jr. serves as an Associate Municipal Judge for the City of El Paso. He is an active member of the El Paso Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association, and the El Paso Young Lawyers Association.
