Jordan S. Hennig is a skilled attorney in Butler Snow’s Labor and Employment practice group, based in the firm’s Huntsville office. She focuses on U.S. immigration law and labor compliance, assisting clients across industries like healthcare, manufacturing, IT, and finance. Her work includes both non-immigrant and immigrant visa strategies for businesses and individuals.
Jordan earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she also received a Governmental Affairs Certificate and served as Managing Editor of The Journal of the Legal Profession. She holds a B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Auburn University, where she demonstrated early leadership as Vice President of the Cater Society and founding member of the SGA Judicial Branch.
Jordan regularly prepares non-immigrant work visas—including H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2, and TN—and employment-based green card petitions such as EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3. She also assists with family-based petitions, helping clients navigate complex immigration systems with confidence and precision.
Jordan advises employers on workplace compliance, human resources practices, and risk mitigation in employment matters. She drafts internal policies, conducts disciplinary case evaluations, and provides training to leadership teams. Her approach blends legal insight with practical strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
Before joining Butler Snow, Jordan was a Trial Attorney in the Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, representing the agency in enforcement actions before the FLRA, MSPB, and EEOC. She also previously served in the Office of U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions, gaining firsthand knowledge of federal regulatory and legislative processes.
