Jonathan V. Barg

Jonathan V. Barg is a shareholder at Barg Singer Hoesly PC in Portland whose practice covers a broad range of real estate transactions. He advises developers and investors on acquisitions, leasing, financing, condominium development, property management, construction, title matters, joint ventures, and entity formations. His work involves retail, industrial, office, residential, mixed-use properties, and substantial experience with the development of long-term care facilities.

Barg earned both a J.D. and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California in 1985. He received a B.A., cum laude with Political Science Department Honors, from Claremont McKenna College in 1981 and also attended the Institute of European Studies at the London School of Economics. This combined legal and business education supports his work on complex real estate and corporate transactions.

Barg also represents retail, service, and technology businesses on corporate and general business matters. His experience includes asset and stock sales, mergers, shareholder agreements, financing transactions, employment agreements, and operational matters.
