Jonathan Thalheimer is a highly respected attorney and manager at TCWM PLLC in Dallas, Texas. With a practice centered on commercial real estate sales, acquisitions, and development, he brings decades of experience advising a wide range of clients—from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Jonathan is also a leading authority in structured finance, routinely handling complex transactions involving portfolio and construction lending, CMBS, loan syndications, and interest rate derivatives.
Jonathan earned his B.A., magna cum laude with honors, from Yale University in 1979 and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1982. While at UVA, he served on the Board of Directors of the University’s Post Conviction Assistance Project.
Jonathan has represented borrowers, lenders, trustees, and developers in a wide range of high-value financial and real estate transactions. His work includes mezzanine financing, inter-creditor agreements, commercial mortgage-backed securities, and collateralized debt obligations. He has advised on major credit facilities and acquisition financing, such as a $32 billion energy company deal and a $5.5 billion international hotel credit facility. His experience also extends to EB-5 investor visa financing and representing national loan servicers in complex loan servicing and litigation matters.
Jonathan is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
