Jonathan Lowe

Jonathan Lowe is a criminal defense attorney at The Lowe Law Office, PLLC in Bedford, Texas. He represents people accused of misdemeanors and felonies throughout Tarrant County, including matters involving DWI, assault, family violence, drug offenses, sexual assault, and other serious criminal charges. Jonathan focuses on protecting clients’ freedom, employment, and future while explaining legal options in clear language and helping clients make informed decisions about plea negotiations, trial, and other possible outcomes.

Jonathan earned his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 2014 after completing a B.B.A. in business management at Texas A&M University, where he graduated magna cum laude. During law school, he won an intra-school moot court competition. His academic background in business and legal advocacy provided a foundation for analyzing evidence, evaluating risks, developing courtroom arguments, and communicating practical legal strategies to clients facing the Texas criminal justice system.

Before entering private practice, Jonathan served as an assistant district attorney in Bexar County and Tarrant County, prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases. He handled thousands of criminal matters and has participated in more than 90 jury trials during his legal career. That background gives him firsthand knowledge of how prosecutors evaluate evidence, negotiate cases, and prepare for trial. His defense work includes seeking dismissals, charge reductions, probation, favorable sentencing alternatives, and not-guilty verdicts when supported by the circumstances.

Jonathan Lowe is board certified in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and was recognized as a Fort Worth Magazine Top Attorney in 2025 and a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2025 and 2026. He has also been named to The National Trial Lawyers Top 100. Jonathan is a member of the Texas Bar College, State Bar of Texas, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and Tarrant County Bar Association.
