Jonathan Ciottone

Jonathan Ciottone is a partner in McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia’s Hartford office and manages the firm’s general liability practice in Connecticut. His defense practice includes products liability, school liability, civil sexual assault, liquor liability, municipal liability, fire and explosion, professional liability, and wrongful death. He has defended hundreds of premises liability and motor vehicle claims and represents clients in state and federal courts, including class actions and multidistrict litigation.

Jonathan earned a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1999 and a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts in 1996. At Quinnipiac, he served as president of the Mock Trial Honor Society and competed in the ATLA Product Liability National Mock Trial Competition, where his team won the Northeast regional competition and advanced to the national finals. His law school record included several graduation awards focused on litigation and advocacy.

Jonathan represents a varied defense client base that includes Fortune 100 companies, universities, schools, commercial properties, marinas, manufacturers and designers, general contractors, physicians, psychologists, product sellers, property owners and managers, municipalities, and police officers.
