About
Jonathan Breeden is the founding attorney of Breeden Law Office, where he has dedicated his career to helping families navigate difficult legal transitions with clarity and compassion. Since opening his practice in 2000, he has represented individuals across Johnston, Harnett, and Wake Counties in divorce, custody, child support, adoption, and other family law matters.
Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Carolina State University, completing his degree in three years. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law, where he received hands-on training in North Carolina district court practice.
Jonathan, the most meaningful outcomes are those that improve a child’s quality of life. He focuses on resolving family law disputes in ways that allow parents and children to move forward constructively. His approach emphasizes practical solutions, clear communication, and advocacy that prioritizes stability and long-term well-being for families.
During law school, Jonathan gained valuable experience by interning with District Attorney offices in Scotland and Hoke Counties and by participating in a summer study abroad program in London. This practical education provided the foundation needed to launch his own firm and serve the growing needs of young families in Johnston County and surrounding communities.
Jonathan represents clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, guardianship, child support, domestic violence, adoption, and estate planning. In addition to client representation, he authored a comprehensive guide to divorce in North Carolina to help individuals better understand the legal process and make informed decisions.
Jonathan Breeden remains actively involved in professional and community organizations, reflecting his commitment to service beyond the courtroom. Through Breeden Law Office, he continues to provide trusted, personalized representation to families seeking guidance, resolution, and a stronger path forward under North Carolina law.
