About

Jonathan A. Martin is a Partner at Aloia | Roland | Lubell, PLLC, where he helps lead the firm’s Personal Injury & Wrongful Death department. He joined the firm in 2022, bringing extensive courtroom experience in both civil and criminal matters. He began representing injured people in private practice in 2015 after starting his legal career as a prosecutor. His personal injury law practice focuses on advocating for people who have suffered serious harm and for surviving family members pursuing wrongful death claims. He has taken more than 90 civil and criminal matters to trial during his career.

Jonathan earned a J.D. from Liberty University School of Law, where he served as the founding chair of the Honor Council. He earned both a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in Religious Studies from Stetson University, along with a minor in Business Administration. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2008. He is also admitted to practice before the US District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida, giving him experience within both Florida state and federal court systems.

Jonathan served as a prosecutor with the Office of the State Attorney for Florida’s 20th Judicial Circuit before entering private practice. He was promoted to serve as the prosecutor for Glades County, where his responsibilities covered cases ranging from misdemeanor offenses to murder prosecutions. That prosecutorial background provided substantial experience evaluating evidence, preparing cases, examining witnesses, presenting arguments, and handling courtroom proceedings. He transitioned from prosecution to representing injured clients in 2015 and has since concentrated his private practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation.

Jonathan A. Martin represents injured individuals and survivors in claims involving significant personal injuries and wrongful deaths. His firm reports that he has represented hundreds of injured clients and survivors and has recovered more than $36 million since entering private practice. His work combines extensive trial experience with the investigation, preparation, negotiation, and litigation required in serious injury cases. He approaches each matter with experience gained from both sides of the courtroom, using his background as a former prosecutor and longtime trial attorney to develop claims, address disputed issues, and pursue compensation for people harmed by the conduct of others.
