Jon L. Norinsberg

Jon L. Norinsberg is the Founder and Senior Managing Partner of Joseph & Norinsberg and one of New York’s most accomplished civil rights and employment litigators. He represents clients in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters. Known for relentless advocacy, he takes on powerful employers and complex cases with a commitment to securing justice. With more than 200 trials, he is one of the few attorneys with this level of courtroom experience.

Mr. Norinsberg earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center after graduating top of his class. He began his career at a major commercial litigation firm before joining the New York City Law Department, where he became one of the city’s top trial lawyers. His background includes co-authoring the Law Department’s Trial Notebook and helping create the city’s trial training program. His education and early experience shaped his strategic, disciplined, and fearless approach to litigation.

Over his career, Mr. Norinsberg has earned national attention for high-profile victories. He secured a landmark $7.4 million verdict in a case involving fabricated evidence, a matter rejected by six firms before he took it on.
