Johnna Main Bailey

Johnna Main Bailey is a partner at the Memphis office of Siskind Susser, where she focuses her practice on family-based immigration and removal defense. She handles matters including Adjustment of Status, Asylum, Naturalization, DACA, VAWA, U visas, Cancellation of Removal, and the immigration impact of criminal convictions.

Johnna earned her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School, where she was active in immigration advocacy through Catholic Charities’ Immigrant Detention Project and the Immigration Law Society. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Bryan College. During law school, she was a semi-finalist in the ABA Southeastern Regional Trial Competition and served as a Mock Trial student coach.

Johnna has represented individuals before the Atlanta and Memphis Immigration Courts and regularly handles complex relief applications such as Withholding of Removal. Johnna’s work is grounded in a client-centered approach, aimed at protecting family unity and defending the rights of immigrants facing deportation or seeking humanitarian protection.

Before joining Siskind Susser, Johnna focused on employment-based immigration, successfully obtaining H-1B, L-1, O-1, P-1, and TN visas, as well as PERM labor certifications for U.S. employers. She also advised companies on I-9 and immigration document compliance and represented them in regulatory audits, giving her a rare combination of experience in both family-based and business immigration law.

Johnna is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and is licensed to practice in Georgia and Arkansas. She has served as a supervising attorney for the University of Memphis law school’s Alternate Spring Break Immigration Track and remains active in legal mentorship and community outreach.

A founding board member and current chair of Mid-South Immigration Advocates, Johnna Main Bailey is dedicated to increasing access to legal services for low-income immigrants. Her combination of courtroom experience and public interest work makes her a respected advocate in immigration law.
