John P. Leader

John P. Leader, Esq., is a personal injury lawyer at Leader Law, representing clients in serious injury and wrongful death cases throughout Arizona. His practice focuses on auto accidents, trucking accidents, defective roadway claims, traumatic brain injuries, and other negligence matters. He has practiced law in Arizona since 1989. His extensive courtroom background includes civil litigation, jury trials, appellate advocacy, and cases involving significant injuries and financial losses.

John earned his J.D. from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. He served on the Arizona Law Review and earned Dean’s List recognition during law school. He received his B.A., with distinction, in General Studies from the University of Arizona. His undergraduate studies emphasized English, Spanish, and economics, and he earned Dean’s List recognition throughout his studies.

John began his legal career as a federal judicial clerk for US District Judge Alfredo C. Marquez. He later served nine years as an Assistant US Attorney in the Criminal Division. During that period, he litigated approximately 50 federal jury trials and presented more than 15 appellate arguments before the Ninth Circuit. He entered private civil practice in 1999 and opened his own legal practice in 2007.

John P. Leader is admitted to practice in Arizona state courts, the US District Court, the Ninth Circuit, and the US Supreme Court. His professional memberships include the State Bar of Arizona, Pima County Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and Arizona Association for Justice. He has served on the Western Trial Lawyers Association board and has received professional recognition for his litigation work and public service.
