About

John Osborne is a Senior Counsel who focuses exclusively on plaintiffs’ personal injury law. He represents individuals in serious injury and wrongful death cases that require careful preparation and strong courtroom skills. His practice includes catastrophic injury claims, product liability disputes, and complex civil litigation where clients face life-changing harm.

John earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Psychology from Stanford University. He later received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. His academic background supports his detailed case analysis and his ability to understand both the legal and human sides of injury litigation.

John began his legal career in the 1980s, defending medical malpractice cases before joining the plaintiff’s bar in 1985. Since then, he has handled medical negligence claims from investigation through trial. He is admitted to practice before state and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. He also maintains an active appellate practice, challenging unfavorable rulings when necessary.

John personally manages a limited number of major cases, including catastrophic injury and complex product liability matters. In Yniguez v. DaimlerChrysler, he secured a jury verdict totaling $6.2 Million before comparative fault, with more than $3 Million awarded afterward. In Rosser v. Greenehaven Development, he obtained a verdict exceeding $1 Million for a Northern Arizona family. In Philadelphia Indemnity v. Barrera, the Arizona Supreme Court reversed lower court decisions, resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional insurance benefits for his clients.

John Osborne has directed hundreds of federal multi-district litigation cases, including claims against Showa Denko, Inc. involving L-Tryptophan. He has also achieved confidential settlements with major manufacturers such as Bridgestone/Firestone, Yokohama Tire Corporation, Ford Motor Company, and General Motors Corporation. He is a past president of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and the Tucson Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. John is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer-reviewed rating for legal ability and ethical standards, and is certified by the State Bar of Arizona in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation.
