John Michael Sahady

John Michael Sahady is a partner based in Fall River, Massachusetts, whose practice focuses on litigation. He represents clients in personal injury, workers’ compensation, product liability, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, Social Security Disability, and family law matters. His work is devoted entirely to litigation and to helping individuals resolve serious legal disputes.

John earned a B.A. from Brown University, majoring in International Relations with a focus on East/West Security. He later received his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and his LL.M. from the University of Edinburgh Faculty of Law in Scotland, with honors in International Trade Law.

John’s legal practice includes personal injury, workers’ compensation, product liability, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and Social Security Disability cases, which together make up the majority of his work. He also represents clients in family law matters and handles select disputes involving real estate, contracts, and business law.

John has been admitted to practice law in Massachusetts since 1993 and was admitted to the U.S. District Court District of Massachusetts in 2004. His practice is devoted entirely to litigation, reflecting his commitment to representing clients in court and resolving complex legal disputes.

John received several honors during his legal education at Syracuse University College of Law. These include the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Constitutional Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution, the Dean’s Outstanding Contribution Award, and the Paul Shipman Andrews Memorial Award for extraordinary service.

John Michael Sahady has also been recognized for his commitment to public service and pro bono advocacy. He received the First Justices’ Award for Pro Bono Publico Excellence in 2013 and 2014, as well as recognition for trial advocacy on behalf of victims of domestic violence.
