John David Hart

John David Hart has built a legal career centered on helping people facing life-changing harm after tragic events. Practicing law since 1981, he is known for steady courtroom focus, careful case preparation, and strong advocacy for those seeking accountability in difficult personal injury and civil litigation matters across varied and demanding case types.

John began his education at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, attending from 1975 to 1976. He continued his studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, from 1976 to 1979. His legal training concluded at Baylor University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1981, building a strong academic foundation there.

John has spent more than three decades trying complex cases involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, trucking accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, and commercial disputes. His trial work reflects deep experience with traumatic brain injury claims, serious vehicle collisions, oil and gas litigation, and other high-stakes civil matters.

John holds Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law from the Texas Board of Legal Certification.
