John C. Goetz

John C. Goetz has dedicated his life to helping people who have faced injuries or loss. With a strong background in law and a passion for justice, he brings nearly 49 years of skill and experience to his clients.

John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Minnesota in 1973. He later completed his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, at the University of Minnesota Law School in 1976. During law school, he was part of the Minnesota Law Review and served as a Note and Article Editor. In 1976, he was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar, the U.S. District Court – Minnesota District, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

John is a Civil Trial Specialist certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Over the years, he has become known for his handling of personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and medical malpractice cases. His deep understanding of legal and medical issues allows him to handle complex cases with skill.

John has been listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” by Woodward/White from 1994 to the present. He was also recognized among the “Top 500 Leading Plaintiffs’ Lawyers” by Lawdragon. He holds an “AV Rated” status from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory since 1983 and has been named a “Super Lawyer” since 2003.

Goetz is a proud member of the Minnesota Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, American Board of Trial Advocates, Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, and the American Arbitration Association’s Panel of Arbitrators.
