John Bena III is a Massachusetts attorney with decades of legal experience serving individuals and families. John earned his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1983 as a Commonwealth Scholar. He later received his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in Boston in 1987. During his academic career, he also studied as an international student at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. His education provided a strong legal foundation that prepared him for a career focused on advocacy and service.
John was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1987 and the Federal Bar for the District of Massachusetts in 1988 after completing law school. He has spent many years handling workers’ compensation and personal injury cases, helping injured individuals pursue fair benefits and compensation. He also represents clients in divorce, child support, and other family law matters. In addition, he assists disabled individuals during hearings before the Social Security Administration.
John Bena III has contributed to the legal community through teaching and public service, in addition to his legal practice. He previously served as an instructor at Northeastern University and worked as a conciliator for the Brockton and Stoughton Courts. He has also supported the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as a community service provider. As a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, he continues to advocate for individuals seeking disability benefits and fair legal representation.
