John Ariale

John Ariale is the Washington, D.C. government affairs lawyer and Managing Director at GrayRobinson, P.A. and an attorney whose work centers on government affairs, lobbying, and public policy. He brings decades of experience in congressional relations, legislative strategy, advocacy, and the federal appropriations process. He advises domestic and international clients on matters involving environmental policy, international relations, defense, global development, global health, homeland security, financial services, and other issues that require engagement with Congress and federal decision makers.

Ariale earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 1987 and his B.A. from Stetson University in 1984. He is admitted in the District of Columbia and Florida and before the US Supreme Court. His legal education, combined with extensive congressional experience, supports a practice focused on statutory language, appropriations, policy development, coalition building, and the practical operation of legislative and executive branch processes.

Ariale previously served as chief of staff and appropriations associate to Congressman Ander Crenshaw, working on matters before subcommittees covering State and Foreign Operations, Homeland Security, Financial Services, and Defense. Earlier, he held several roles for Congressman Bill McCollum. His work has included federal authorizations and appropriations, base realignment issues, international food aid proposals, disability policy, and development of the Congressional Caucus on Effective Foreign Assistance.
