Jody T. Klekamp

Jody T. Klekamp is a partner at KMK Law and a trusted advisor in real estate and transactional matters. Since joining the firm in 1991, she has served private- and public-sector clients on commercial real estate purchases, sales, financing, leasing, construction, development, zoning, and related business issues and planning.

Jody earned a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1991 and a B.A. from Miami University, Oxford, in 1988. Her legal training supports a practice focused on clear contracts, careful review, and practical guidance for clients navigating complex real estate and development transactions.

Jody drafts and negotiates commercial contracts and leases for shopping centers, planned developments, offices, and warehouse facilities. Her work also covers residential units, multi-family apartments, condominiums, retail space, office space, mixed-use projects, and professional sports facilities, with strong skills in condominium and homeowner community development matters for larger developer clients.

Jody has served as lead counsel on major developments for PLK Communities, including Factory 52, ILA Hyde Park, and Remington Lake. She also led work for Union Promenade in Kentucky, including easement declarations, sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, and related project documents tied to the mixed-use development in Union.

Jody has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for 2024 through 2026 and named to Cincinnati Magazine’s Top Lawyers list in 2026. She has also been AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, named to Ohio Leading Lawyers in 2024, and named to Ohio Rising Stars.
