Jim Fletcher

Jim Fletcher is a Georgia estate planning attorney and the founder of Fletcher Estate Planning LLC. He focuses his practice on helping individuals and families protect what matters most through clear, well-structured estate plans. Jim earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, he served as Executive Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and was Justice and President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He also holds a B.B.A. in Management from Kennesaw State University. His academic background reflects a strong foundation in both legal analysis and business-focused decision-making.

Jim advanced to senior associate roles at respected Buckhead and Dunwoody law firms before founding Fletcher Estate Planning LLC. In those positions, he gained experience in estate planning, complex civil litigation, and real estate matters. This broad legal background allows him to anticipate issues, explain options clearly, and build estate plans that address both current needs and future risks under Georgia law.

Jim has helped clients protect families, preserve assets, and plan for incapacity and future transitions throughout his career. He is the author of Estate Planning for Georgia Families and has completed advanced professional training through WealthCounsel and Elder Law College.
