Jim earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas before completing his J.D. at the University of Texas School of Law. His legal education provided him with a strong foundation in personal injury and trial law, equipping him to take on powerful corporations and insurance companies.

Jim’s legal career began with service in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy, where he was appointed as a judge for the Office of Civilian Health and Medical Programs United Services (OCHAMPUS). After his military service, Jim launched his personal injury law practice in Houston, Texas.
