About
Jill L. Uehara, Esq., is the founder of Maui Law LLLC and serves clients across Hawaiʻi with focused, practical legal guidance. She represents people facing serious issues that can affect their rights, finances, safety, and future. Her practice includes criminal defense law, DUI matters, landlord representation, temporary restraining orders, and personal injury claims. She approaches each case with care, listens closely to client concerns, and develops clear legal strategies designed to meet each client’s needs and support informed decision-making at every stage.
Jill earned her J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaiʻi, in 2018. During law school, she was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Trusts and Estates. She also holds an M.S. in Health Management Systems from Duquesne University, earned in 2012. Earlier, she received a B.A. in Politics from Princeton University in 2010, along with a Certificate in African Studies there.
Jill, before opening her firm, built strong legal experience by working with law firms and clerking for the Administrative Judge of the Second Circuit of Hawaiʻi. That background helped shape the core areas of her current practice and strengthened her understanding of court procedures, case preparation, and advocacy. She uses this knowledge to guide clients through difficult legal problems, explain options in plain language, and prepare strategies that address both immediate concerns and long-term legal goals.
Jill L. Uehara has numerous clients who benefit from her steady support, strong communication, and detailed approach to legal representation. She works to help people move through stressful situations with greater confidence and a clear plan. By combining careful listening with thoughtful strategy, she helps clients understand the legal process and take meaningful steps forward. Her professional reputation, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with judges and counsel reflect her commitment to strong advocacy and dependable service for every client.
