Jesse Debban

Jesse Debban is a Partner who advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, with a strong focus on complex transactions. He works on both domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including carve-outs, venture capital financings, strategic investments, and joint ventures. His practice also includes advising on corporate governance matters and other significant corporate transactions for investors and emerging companies.

Jesse earned his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2003, followed by his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2006. He is Admitted to the State Bar of California and is a Registered Foreign Lawyer in England and Wales, 2024.

Jesse represents both private and public companies across many industries. His clients include private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, venture capital investors, family offices, and founders. He has experience working with businesses in technology, renewable energy, infrastructure, consumer products, and e-commerce. His broad industry knowledge allows him to guide clients through fast-moving markets and changing business needs.

Jesse handles matters related to Corporate and M&A, Intellectual property and Complex commercial transactions. His work also covers Joint ventures, Private equity, and Tech transactions. In addition, he advises on M&A, JVs, and corporate reorganizations, as well as Global employment and compensation issues connected to corporate deals. He helps clients structure transactions carefully while managing legal and business risks.

Jesse Debban has been involved in several notable transactions. These include representing DoorDash in its acquisition of SevenRooms, a global leader in hospitality technology. He also worked on the sale of VinAI’s Generative AI business to Qualcomm. In addition, he has contributed to corporate technology transactions during periods of regulatory transformation.
