Jeryl A. Golub

Jeryl A. Golub has practiced family law in Texas since 1995, focusing on matters involving complex property division, child custody, and premarital and marital agreements. She began her career at Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., where she practiced exclusively in family law for nearly 12 years. During her tenure, she gained significant experience working with attorneys across various disciplines and jurisdictions, which enriched her ability to handle multifaceted legal issues within family law cases.

Jeryl earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1995. She also completed a B.A. in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1991.

Over the years, Jeryl has built a strong reputation for strategic, client-focused family law representation. She regularly handles complex cases involving high‑net‑worth and intricate financial estates, interstate jurisdiction disputes, and post‑divorce spousal maintenance. A frequent speaker and author for continuing legal education programs, Jeryl has presented on a wide range of family law issues, including property characterization, the use of mental health expert testimony, and possession and access (custody and visitation) matters.

Jeryl has been an active leader in the Houston legal community, serving as Chair of the Family Law Section of the Houston Bar Association and Director of the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program. Jeryl was instrumental in founding the Pro Se Family Law Clinic to assist underrepresented individuals in Houston. In addition to her practice, she has served as a Visiting Associate Judge for the 257th Judicial District Court in Harris County.

Jeryl A. Golub returned to private practice with Tindall England in 2009, continuing to deliver skilled legal guidance in family law matters. Her contributions have been recognized through awards such as “Texas Rising Star Attorney” and “Fast Track Lawyer,” as well as numerous speaking and leadership roles within the Texas legal community.
