Robin Klein

Robin Klein is a seasoned family law attorney and Senior Counsel at Skillern Firm Divorce & Child Custody Lawyers. Robin has practiced family law exclusively for more than 13 years and is trained in mediation. She represents clients in divorce, custody, child support, and property division with a thoughtful, strategic, and compassionate approach.

Robin W. Klein earned her B.A. in Communications from Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas, and later received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2004. This strong academic foundation enables Robin to evaluate each case thoroughly and craft tailored, creative solutions to even the most difficult legal challenges.

Robin is board-certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, an honor held by just 1% of family lawyers in the state. She is highly experienced in resolving disputes related to custody, possession and access, financial support, and marital property through litigation and negotiated settlements. Robin assists clients in evaluating risks and developing realistic legal goals from start to finish.

Robin’s accolades include being named a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters in 2016. She is actively involved in the College of the State Bar of Texas and multiple sections of the Houston Bar Association, including Family Law, Probate Trust & Estate, and Collaborative Law. She is also a member of the Speakers Bureau Committee, the Burta Rhoads Raborn Family Law American Inn of Court, the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, and the Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists.
