Jerry A. Jacobson is an experienced attorney who has spent decades advising clients on complex legal matters involving business operations, property interests, and long-term planning. Jerry began his academic path at Oregon State University, where he earned a B.S. in 1970. He later pursued legal studies at Lewis and Clark College, Northwestern School of Law in Portland, Oregon. There, he completed his Juris Doctor in 1976, preparing for a career in legal practice.
Jerry focuses his legal practice on real estate matters, business and corporate law, and business and real estate litigation. He also works with clients on estate planning, probate, and elder law, helping individuals and families organize assets, address property concerns, and prepare for future legal needs with clear strategies and guidance.
Jerry has been admitted to practice in Oregon, California, and several federal courts. These include the U.S. District Court District of Oregon, the U.S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. His admissions allow him to handle matters that involve both state and federal legal issues with confidence.
Jerry has remained active in professional and community organizations throughout his career. He is associated with the Jackson County Bar Association and the Southern Oregon Estate Planning Council. He has also served as President of the Crater Lake Natural History Association beginning in 1986, contributing leadership and public service efforts locally.
Jerry has also contributed his legal knowledge through public service. He served on the Board of Directors for Center for Nonprofit Legal Services, Inc. from 2002 to 2006. He later worked as a Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Pro Tem from 1998 to 2013, assisting the court with judicial responsibilities and proceedings.
