Jeremy R. Handschuh

Jeremy R. Handschuh is the managing member of Mitchell – Handschuh Law Group, LLC, where he focuses on transportation and logistics law. He represents brokers, carriers, shippers, entrepreneurs, small businesses, mid-sized companies, and large corporations. His practice covers transportation claims and litigation, transportation agreements, business formation, management, and commercial lawsuits and disputes. He has worked with transportation clients since 2011 and brings detailed knowledge of freight operations, logistics, and legal issues affecting companies throughout the business cycle across the United States.

Jeremy earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2008 and his B.B.A. cum laude from J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University in 2005. His legal and business education supports a practice centered on transportation companies and commercial operations. After entering practice, he developed extensive experience advising freight-industry clients on contracts, disputes, corporate matters, and litigation. This combination of legal training and business knowledge helps him address issues involving transportation operations and commercial decision-making and strategy.

Jeremy began serving transportation company clients of The Mitchell Law Firm in 2011 and developed a strong professional relationship with founder Bruce Mitchell. In 2016, he succeeded Mitchell as the firm’s managing member, and the practice became Mitchell – Handschuh Law Group, LLC. He now assists transportation businesses through matters arising across their full life cycle, including contracts, claims, litigation, formation, management, and disputes. His clients include companies of varying sizes, including large enterprises and Fortune 500 corporations nationwide and beyond.

Jeremy R. Handschuh stays current on legal developments affecting transportation and logistics businesses and remains active in industry-focused professional organizations.
