Mr. Karpel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he developed a strong academic foundation in criminal justice. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Glendale College of Law, serving on Law Review and acting as Student Body President. Licensed in all California state courts and multiple federal districts, he represents clients across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and surrounding counties.

Mr. Karpel’s practice encompasses a broad range of criminal matters, including DUI, drug offenses, domestic violence, theft crimes, sex crimes, violent crimes, white collar offenses, expungements, restraining orders, and juvenile cases. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Karpel serves as a professor in the Department of Criminology and Justice Studies at California State University, Northridge.
