About

Jennifer Chiang has built a distinguished legal career marked by leadership, service, and integrity. For over a decade, she has represented individuals and businesses across Texas in estate planning, probate, business law, and real estate matters. Her commitment to client success and professional excellence has made her a trusted name in the Greater Houston area.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics with Academic Distinction and a Master of Business Administration in International Business and Finance from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. She later obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center, where she participated in Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions, founded student organizations, and received multiple academic and leadership scholarships.

Jennifer began her career gaining valuable legal experience through clerkships with U.S. Senator John Cornyn, the Texas First Court of Appeals, the 269th District Court in Harris County, the Texas Railroad Commission, and Union Pacific Railroad’s Southern Law Department. Her early exposure to public service and diverse legal issues shaped her balanced approach to problem-solving and advocacy.

Jennifer’s commitment to justice led to her appointment in 2015 as an Associate Municipal Judge for the City of Sugar Land—the first native-born resident and first Asian American to serve in that position. She continues to preside with fairness and dedication while contributing her expertise to several professional and community organizations.

Jennifer Chiang remains deeply committed to advancing the law, supporting her community, and promoting diversity and excellence in the Texas legal profession. Her community involvement includes serving as a Trustee of the Texas Bar Foundation, District 5 Nominating Chair, and Board Member of the Fort Bend Education Foundation. She was previously appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the Governor’s Commission for Women and recognized as one of Fort Bend’s Rising Stars by the Fort Bend Business Journal.
