Jeffrey S. Rose is a trial attorney in Longmont, Colorado, who represents clients in commercial and civil litigation. He handles business disputes, corporate litigation, insurance claims, personal injury cases, and environmental matters. His practice also includes real estate, land use, probate, and water litigation. He regularly serves as lead counsel in complex lawsuits and arbitration proceedings, representing businesses, individuals, landowners, and public entities in disputes before state and federal courts.
Jeffrey earned a B.S. in Biology with distinction from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2003. He later received his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School in 2008. During law school, he received the 2007–2008 Clinical Education Award for Outstanding Client Service, was a Bernard J. Seeman Scholar, and worked as a teaching assistant in legal writing. Before pursuing law, he conducted neurophysiology research and helped cancer patients explore treatment options and financial assistance.
Jeffrey’s experience includes representing landowners in an environmental lawsuit involving sediment discharged from a reservoir onto their property. He worked with engineering and geology experts, negotiated permits, and tried the case before it reached a seven-figure settlement during trial. He has also served as outside litigation counsel in more than 80 cases involving commercial disputes, corporate fraud, telecommunications issues, and utility easements. Other matters include insurance bad faith claims, boundary disputes, and serious injury cases.
Jeffrey S. Rose takes a practical approach to litigation, keeping clients’ goals and legal costs in focus. Super Lawyers selected him to its Colorado Rising Stars list each year from 2017 through 2021. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Boulder County Bar Association, where he previously served as president. His background also includes a judicial clerkship with Judge Norman D. Haglund of the Denver District Court, adding court experience to his trial practice.
