Jeffrey K. Vandervoort

Jeffrey K. Vandervoort is a principal member of Sitterley, Vandervoort, & Nixon Ltd. He has practiced law since joining the firm in 1999 and focuses on business and real estate law. Jeff advises clients at every stage of growth, from new startups to established corporations. He helps businesses make informed legal decisions, manage risk, and complete complex transactions. His work is known for being practical, detailed, and focused on long-term success.

Jeffrey earned a B.S. in Business from Indiana University. He later received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Toledo College of Law. To further deepen his legal knowledge, he completed an LL.M. in Business at Capital University Law School. This advanced education allows him to approach legal matters with both legal precision and business insight.

Jeffrey has assisted clients with business formation, entity selection, contract drafting, franchise matters, and the purchase or sale of stock and assets throughout his legal career. He regularly guides clients through commercial transactions and succession planning. His goal is to help businesses operate smoothly, comply with the law, and avoid costly disputes through careful planning and straightforward legal advice.

Jeffrey also maintains a strong real estate practice covering both residential and commercial matters. He handles land transactions, zoning and development issues, leasing, landlord-tenant matters, and 1031 exchanges.

Jeffrey K. Vandervoort manages Lancaster Title Agency, ensuring accurate and efficient closings as a licensed title agent. His prior experience as a federal law clerk and as a commercial litigation associate adds valuable perspective when resolving complex legal issues for clients.
