Jeffrey Citron is the Co-Managing Partner and Chair of the Real Estate Law practice, as well as Co-Chair of the Economic Development & Tax Incentives practice at Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP. In his Managing Partner role, he oversees all administrative and management operations of the firm, ensuring excellence and strategic direction across all departments.
Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from The American University in Washington, D.C., and later earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. His strong educational foundation has supported a distinguished legal career spanning more than 35 years in real estate, hospitality, and commercial law.
Jeffrey’s practice focuses on assisting private and public companies with financing, grants, and tax incentives for capital projects through government and institutional channels. As a trusted general counsel, he advises clients on matters involving banking, contracts, employment, real estate acquisitions, and infrastructure development. He has also represented numerous Industrial Development Agencies, establishing himself as an expert in Industrial Revenue Bond financing.
In addition to his legal practice, Jeffrey is active in community and professional organizations, serving as President of Fenway Golf Club and having served on the Friars Club Board of Governors. He has also contributed to several charitable organizations, including the Young Men’s Philanthropic League and the United Hebrew Geriatric Center.
Jeffrey Citron has been recognized for his outstanding leadership and legal expertise, including being named Real Estate Lawyer of the Year in New York by the International Advisory Experts (2020). He was also featured on City & State Magazine’s NYC Law Power 100 List in 2020, 2022, and 2023, recognizing his influence and achievements within New York’s legal community.
