Jeffrey A. Curran

Jeffrey A. Curran is a shareholder in the Oklahoma City office of GableGotwals. His practice focuses on product liability defense, insurance matters, intellectual property litigation, commercial litigation, and entertainment law. He represents production companies, musicians, and recording companies in contract negotiations, licensing, and related legal matters.

Jeff earned his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and his B.S. from the University of Oklahoma. His education supports a broad practice in litigation, insurance, products liability, intellectual property, construction law, alternative dispute resolution, and sports, media, and entertainment matters for diverse business clients.

Jeff has appeared as regional and national counsel for clients and has tried cases to verdict in several states. His litigation work includes state and federal matters. He is also a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and National Fire Counsel for a major satellite and streaming entertainment services provider.

Jeff has held leadership roles in several professional groups. He is a past Chair and Vice Chair of the Defense Research Institute’s Automotive Specialized Litigation Group. He also serves as an Oklahoma State Representative for the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and is a member of many legal and professional associations.

Jeff has earned recognition from Benchmark Litigation, Best Lawyers, Martindale-Hubbell Lawyer Ratings, and Super Lawyers. His honors include Litigation Star, AV Preeminent, and Top 50: Oklahoma Super Lawyers from 2023 through 2025. He has also been listed for insurance, product liability, personal injury defense, and entertainment and sports work.

Jeffrey A. Curran has written and presented on litigation, commercial litigation, professionalism, and ethics. He authored Expert Witnesses: Automobile and Accident Reconstruction Cases from 2008 through 2023 and served as Regional Editor of the 2020 DRI Reservation of Rights Compendium for several regional chapters and states nationwide.
