Jeff Mobley is a recognized leader in estate planning, wills, trusts, and estate administration. With over four decades of dedicated practice, he has helped individuals and families navigate complex legal processes with clarity and confidence. Jeff is known for his precision, professionalism, and deep commitment to client service.

Jeff began his academic path at the University of Kentucky, graduating with High Distinction and earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he ranked in the top 10% of his class, earned Order of the Coif honors, and served on the Law Review. He is licensed to practice in both Tennessee and Kentucky.

Jeff has earned respect across the legal community. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America from 2001 to 2023 and named to Mid-South Super Lawyers from 2005 to 2023. He holds the AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell for ethics and legal ability, reflecting the highest standard of peer recognition.

Jeff’s contributions include co-authoring Pritchard on the Laws of Wills and Administration of Estates, a vital legal reference often cited by Tennessee courts. He has also served as President of the Nashville Estate Planning Council and Chair of the Probate Court Committee of the Nashville Bar Association, further showcasing his leadership.

Jeff shares his experience with future attorneys as a professor, teaching Estate Planning at Belmont University College of Law and Wills and Estate Planning at Nashville School of Law. His teaching is rooted in real-world knowledge, shaped by decades of practice and scholarship in estate law.
