Jeff Heck

Jeff Heck, widely known as “Mansfield’s Injury Lawyer,” has more than 40 years of experience representing individuals and businesses in personal injury, wrongful death, insurance disputes, and civil litigation. He also handles labor and employment matters and serves as a court-trained mediator and arbitrator in complex legal disputes.

A proud Mansfield native, Jeff graduated from Malabar High School and earned his B.A. from The Ohio State University, where he served as a squad leader in the marching band. He later graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law and was admitted to practice in both Ohio and Florida, as well as multiple federal courts.

Jeff began his legal career at a large Florida law firm before returning to Mansfield to serve his hometown. His practice now includes a broad range of personal injury matters—such as auto accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, and catastrophic injury—as well as employment and probate litigation. As a certified mediator, he frequently resolves disputes outside of court for both individuals and organizations.

Jeff has received numerous honors, including Super Lawyers, “AV Preeminent” from Martindale-Hubbell, and inclusion in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He has also held leadership roles with the Ohio State Bar Association, the Richland County Bar Association, and the Ohio Association for Justice.

Deeply committed to public service, Jeff Heck serves as the Board Chair of 33 Forever, Inc., and as the Treasurer of the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation. He previously served four terms on the Lexington Local Schools Board of Education and has supported many nonprofit and community organizations. He remains a respected advocate and leader, combining legal excellence with a lifelong dedication to improving lives in his community.
