Jeannette E. Bander

Jeannette E. Bander is a partner in Sullivan & Cromwell’s New York office and a member of the Firm’s General Practice Group. Her practice focuses on executive compensation and corporate governance matters linked to private equity deals, public company mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate transactions across many business sectors.

Jeannette earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2011 and her B.S. from Lehigh University in 2008. She is admitted to the New York Bar. Her education supports her work on compensation, compliance, governance, transaction planning, and senior executive matters for companies and leaders alike.

Jeannette also works on restructuring, governance, and compensation matters. Her experience includes Chapter 11 cases, sale processes, executive appointments, transitions, incentive arrangements, leveraged buyouts, board issues, and company leadership matters. She has advised clients such as California Resources Corporation, Eastman Kodak Company, FTX Debtors, Pacific Drilling, and SVB Financial Group.
