Jason Sosa is a trial attorney known for determined advocacy, steady courtroom presence, and a strong commitment to protecting the rights of the people he represents. His work reflects discipline, careful preparation, and a client-centered style shaped by years of handling serious and demanding legal matters.

Jason built a strong academic foundation through years of study at respected Texas institutions. He earned a B.A. Business – Marketing from Texas A&M University in 2002 and an M.S. in Sport Management from Texas A&M University in 2003. He later received a PhD in Sport Management from Texas A&M University in 2006 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2013.

Jason’s early career focused on public defense, where he represented clients in difficult, high-stakes matters and developed substantial courtroom experience. Over a decade of practice, he has handled a wide range of serious cases and earned a reputation as a trial lawyer who stays focused, prepared, and committed to each client.

Jason is also known for his advanced trial training and legal education work. He is a graduate of The Trial Lawyers College and later became a faculty member there. Attorneys also seek his guidance when preparing cases for trial, especially when strategy, listening skills, and case theory are critical.

Jason has developed notable knowledge in intoxication and drug-related cases through specialized scientific training. He earned the ACS Lawyer Scientist designation and trained at Axion Training Institute and Analytical Laboratory in Chicago, Illinois. Because of this background, other attorneys regularly consult him on issues involving intoxication and drug case analysis.

Jason also contributes to the legal profession through teaching and service. He has presented seminars on active listening, voir dire, domestic violence defense, cross-examination, and blood case litigation. His professional involvement includes the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and F-Warrior – Trial Lawyers College Alumni, where he serves as a Board Member.

Jason Sosa brings skill, persistence, and thoughtful advocacy to every matter he handles. His honors include TCDLA Rising Star – Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association 2023 and ACS Lawyer Scientist – American Chemical Society 2018.
