Jason Luong

Jason Luong is a skilled trial and appellate attorney based in Houston, Texas, with a diverse practice that includes criminal defense and civil litigation. He brings decades of experience to high-stakes legal matters, from felony charges and DWI to complex commercial and securities disputes, serving clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 100 companies.

Mr. Luong earned his B.A., cum laude, from Rice University in 1997 and his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2000. During law school, he served on the Texas Law Review, interned for a U.S. District Court Judge and a Texas Supreme Court Justice, and later clerked for U.S. District Judge Royal Furgeson. His scholarly work earned multiple law review awards and has been cited for its contributions to constitutional and trial practice discussions.

Before opening his own firm, Mr. Luong worked as a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and later served as a judge for the 185th Criminal District Court of Harris County.
