Jason began his academic journey at East Carolina University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1999. He later earned his J.D. from the Charleston School of Law in 2007. After completing law school, Jason was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2008 and later to the U.S. Court of Appeals 4th Circuit in 2009. He gained early experience working as a law clerk and attorney for the South Carolina Judicial Department and the Honorable Kristi L. Harrington. This hands-on experience gave him deep insight into the legal system and shaped his approach to handling complex legal issues.
